Why Christian Formation For All?
One of the core values here at All Saints is "Christian Formation For All". Many people may wonder why we offer “formation” instead of “education.” The reason is that “education” can seem finite and imply a limited amount of time needed to complete it; something we graduate from. “Formation” is ongoing. We believe that Christians are called to be involved in lifelong Christian Formation; from Baptism to our Reunion with Christ at Death. At All Saints, we offer Christian Formation for all ages and we strive to be varied in our offerings so that the spiritual needs of all are met.
Since the early church, Christian Formation has filled God’s people with purpose and vision. Beginning at baptism, we are called to search out and experience a range of learning by exploring the Bible and experiencing fellowship in our everyday work and through service.
Our Sunday Morning Christian Formation Hour begins at 9:45 AM during the program year (September-May). We will have offerings for ages 3 through adults and our Nursery will be open at 9 AM. Classes Meet
Sunday Mornings from 9:45 to 10:30. All are offered at 9:45 -10:30 am so you can attend any of our morning worship services and participate in Christian Formation. A light breakfast of donuts, coffee and juice are available for purchase in the undercroft. Proceeds go to benefit our youth making their pilgrimage to NYC this coming June. So why not grab your coffee and doughnuts and join us!
