What to Expect When You Visit
At All Saints we celebrate our liturgical worship striving for a baptismal ecclesiology – a fancy way of saying audience participation. We believe that we all have an active role in the worship. The Eucharist—a.k.a. the Lord’s Supper—is not performed by the clergy while the congregation witnesses it; rather the clergy preside over the celebration and prayers of all present.
We believe that the altar and the meal served there belong to God and not to us. We feast at this table by the grace of God and not by our own merit. All are welcome and invited to God’s table to receive God’s blessing and all baptized Christians, regardless of denomination, are welcome to receive the bread and wine.
Our music is traditional (but not fussy) and comes primarily from the Episcopal Hymnal 1982 with the occasional draw from other resources.
Millennium Development Goals
The MDGs represent a global partnership that has grown from the
commitments and targets established at the world summits of the 1990s. Responding to the world's
main development challenges and to the calls of civil society, the MDGs promote poverty reduction,
education, maternal health, gender equality, and aim at combating child mortality,
AIDS and other diseases.
